£344 raised for MacMillan
On Wednesday 23rd September, we held a coffee morning in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support. It was a great opportunity to raise money for a very worthy cause. Parents and pupils donated cakes which were then available to purchase from parents who were attending on the day. Y6 children took part in a special bake off, which was judged by headteacher Dominic Smith. It was a close call due to the high standard of the entries, but the winning cake was baked by Maisha, who was delighted with her success. "I was over the moon and very proud of myself," she said. Many thanks to parents for supporting this event, which raised £344 for MacMillan.
