Pupils celebrate Brunel's achievements on 'Brunel Day'

On Tuesday 21st February, pupils took part in ‘Brunel Day’ to celebrate Isambard Kingdom Brunel, after whom our schoiol is named. All classes learnt more about the man himself and took part in a range of activities that enhanced their understanding of his tremendous achievements. Year 4 went to the Brunel Museum in Rotherhithe, whilst Year 6 went to Kensal Green Cemetery to view his grave. Bridges were made, and top hats were created as children stepped into his shoes for an afternoon. Everyone really enjoyed learning more about him and we a few budding engineers amongst us. Thank you to our school council for organising the day!
