It was run by Transport for London in conjunction with multi-agencies, including the Metropolitan police, London Fire Brigade, Hope UK, and NHS Ambulance team. The children performed a carousel of activities relating to good citizenship and environmental topics. They learned how to stay safe and what they should do in an emergency. Highlights included witnessing and reporting a crime, learning some first aid (including putting people into the recovery position while waiting for an ambulance to arrive and gaining new respect for the police by dressing up in their gear. Year 6 were a credit to Ark Brunel, and the agencies complimented them on their thoughtful and exemplary behaviour throughout the workshop.
